Our services provide care for Young People with Learning Disabilities and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and/or Autism. All London Paramount Care Children’s Homes offer a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment. We can also offer personal care for those who may need this. Currently, we have one home with plans to expand. All our homes will be registered and regulated by Ofsted.

This is a Children’s Home comprising of 9 flats, located in a quiet area. 8 of the flats will be home to young people, with one being an office for staff. The property is secured with inner gates and another gate (outer).
The property offers spacious and homely flats, which act as a therapeutic living environment for young people to safely explore. We encourage young people to have a huge input on their surroundings in a way tailored to their wishes and feelings.
If entering on foot, staff can insert the correct code into the door (see left photo) to access the property. If using a vehicle, the gate (see left photo) can be opened from the inside. The vehicle can be parked on the spacious drive (see right photo).
Flat 1 is located as the first flat you will see when you enter the property through the front gate.
Flat 1 contains a dining area, lounge area, kitchen, two bedrooms (one ensuite) + plus a separate bathroom, opposite the non ensuite room.

Here is the lounge area. Young people can use this space to relax, play games and watch their favourite shows on TV. We would like our young people to have a place other than their bedroom, where they can relax. This space provides an environment, where the young people can be in comfort, and also socialise. This holds true for all the other lounge areas in the flats you can view.
As you enter Flat 1 you will see the dining area.
As you walk through the living area you will see the kitchen.

Flat 2 is located next to Flat 1, on the lower level of the property.
Flat 2 contains one bedroom, kitchen, lounge area and dining area.

This shows the back of Ambleside. Here you can enter the remaining flats.
This area is in development but when it is finished it can be tailored to the young people’s wishes. This area will serve as a play area for our young people.
The stairs lead to the upper section of Ambleside. The upper section of Ambleside contains the rest of the flats. Flats 3-5 are external (like Flat 1 and 2).

As you go through the doorway on your left, when you pass the kitchen, you will come across the dining area.
As you enter Flat 2, you will see the kitchen area. The dining room can be found to the left from when you enter.
Flat 3 is located at the back of Ambleside, closest to the outside play area.
Flat 3 contains one bedroom, a dining area, kitchen, lounge area and a bathroom.

Here is another angle, which shows the kitchen area. As you can see, this is an open and spacious area, which provides seating for all.
When you enter Flat 3 and go through the door on your right you will enter the dining area/kitchen area.
Flat 5 is located at the back of Ambleside (upper section), furthest from the outside play area shown previously.
Flat 5 has two floors. The lower floor has a kitchen/lounge area and a bathroom.
The upper floor has a bedroom, bathroom and play/lounge area.

As you continue round to the back of the property you will find a sandpit area. Young people can come out here to play in the sand. A water area will also be developed in the property to give young people who enjoy water play an area to have fun

This room has potential to be developed into something more suited to the young person that lives in this flat.
If you take the stairs and continue straight on, you will find a games room/lounge area.
A photo has been provided to show the downstairs area from the viewpoint of the stairs.
There is also a bathroom connected to this area, on the lower floor.
When you enter Flat 5, you will immediately see the lounge/kitchen area.
As you can see the door to enter the remaining flats is next to the door to enter Flat 5.
These are referenced as the internal flats and inside you will find 3 floors.
Floor 1 is where Flat 4 can be accessed. Floor 2 is where Flat 6 & 7 can be accessed and Floor 3 is where Flat 8 & 9 can be accessed.
Flat 8 is where the office is located. However, we will take a look at the other flats individually.
Flat 4 is the first flat you will see when you enter the building.
Flat 4 contains two bedrooms (one en-suite), a kitchen/dining area, lounge area and another bathroom.

The first bathroom (pictured above) is connected to this. This can be used as a general bathroom/specifically assigned to one young person.

As you enter your view will be the kitchen/dining area. Two angles of this have been provided. This is a spacious area.
You will need to go up a floor to get to Flat 6 and 7.

Unlike many of the other flats the kitchen is separated by a door which can be locked for safety purposes, if necessary. All flats can be altered in this way.
When you enter Flat 6 you will come across the dining area.
The bathroom (see above) is connected to this area.
Flat 7 contains one bedroom, a dining area/kitchen area, lounge area and a bathroom.
